DURHAM, N.C.—Two people linked to the death of a woman and a 5-year-old boy have been arrested after police surrounded a house in Durham.
Police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said Peter Lucas Moses Jr., was arrested Tuesday night without incident. The 27-year-old faces a number of charges, including second-degree kidnapping and assault on a female.
Also arrested was 25-year-old Vania Sisk, who is charged with failure to appear in court and an earlier misdemeanor marijuana possession charge.
Court documents show investigators have evidence that Sisk and Moses were involved in two murders, although no murder charges were filed following the arrests.
A police crime lab unit has worked at the house where Jadan Higgenbothan and Antoinetta McCoy were last seen.
