Four condo units in Westminster were damaged by flames and four others by smoke and water this afternoon, but only one person was injured, with minor burns, officials said.
The fire was reported at 2:45 p.m. on the second floor of the Cedar Bridge Condominiums in the 11100 block of Alcott Street just west of Northglenn Reservoir.
A pet cat was killed and another is missing, according to the Westminster Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but was likely caused by a barbecue grill on a balcony, according to the fire department.
