For taxpayers who plan to push the deadline and mail their returns tonight, there are fewer options than in past years.
Last-minute filers also need to be aware of a change in postal rates for additional weight on first class mail. That rate has gone up from 17 cents postage for each additional ounce to 20 cents.
Only one mail facility will be open until midnight — the Denver General Mail Facility Post Office at 7550 E. 53rd Place.
Several locations not open late will collect mail until midnight, although additional services, like calculating the correct postage, won’t be available.
The late collection locations include:

• Bear Valley Station, 7555 W. Amherst Ave.
• Capitol Hill Station, 1571 Marion St.
• Glendale Station, 945 S. Birch St.
• Lakewood Station, 10799 W. Alameda Ave.
• Mile High Station, 450 W. 14th Ave.
• Montclair Station, 8725 E. 11th Ave.
• Northglenn Station, 11887 Washington St.
• North Pecos Station, 1411 Cortez St.
• South Denver Station, 225 S. Broadway
• Sullivan Station, 8700 E. Jefferson Way
• University Park Station, 3800 Buchtel Blvd.
