A happy time for Glory Community

Happy Days was the theme for Glory Community’s fifth annual fundraising gala. It also describes the joy that supporters of the Broomfield-based nonprofit are feeling as they prepare to break ground this summer on the first of several homes to be built on a 2-acre parcel next to Northmoor Park. Each home will enable eight developmentally disabled adults to live more independent lives.


Magis Night a record-breaker

Arrupe Jesuit High School’s Magis Night Dinner always draws a large crowd, and this year was one for the record books because the honoree was Regis University’s beloved president, the Rev. Michael Sheeran. The Hyatt Regency Convention Center ballroom was packed with Sheeran’s friends, and when all was said and done, $730,000 had been raised for tuition assistance at the nonprofit, college- preparatory high school located at 4343 Utica St.
