Westbound Interstate 70 closed tonight at Vail Pass and the Eisenhower Tunnel after accidents, but had reopened at both places by 10:15 p.m.
The Colorado State Patrol told 9News the accident near Vail Pass involved two jackknifed semis, along with three other cars.
The Colorado Department of Transportation said the second accident at the Eisenhower Tunnel also involved a jackknifed semi.
Vail Pass westbound closed at 7:28 p.m. and Eisenhower Tunnel westbound closed about 9:45 p.m. Both reopened after 10 p.m.
Loveland Pass was also closed in both directions because of weather conditions, CDOT said.
