If the council approves the ordinance, coops must be 15 feet from a neighbor’s home and slaughtering is prohibited in all city zones.
• Because of a reporting error, a story on Page 3B on Tuesday incorrectly identified Steve King’s political office. He is a state senator.
• Because of a reporting error, a story on Page 1B on Wednesday misspelled the name of University of Colorado professor Janette Klingner, the developer of the reading strategy featured in the story.
