Firefighters worked on a fire at the Cherry Creek Village condos in the 5300 block of Cherry Creek Drive South.
The call came in just before 6 a.m. Denver Fire was the only agency that responded.
The fire started on the outside of the building and did spread onto the roof. According to the fire department, the blaze never got into any units. The units near the fire were evacuated.
