Ross Higuchi, the 19-year-old University of Northern Colorado freshman who leaped from the balcony of a fraternity house last Saturday, died Tuesday night.
He had been in the Intensive Care Unit of North Colorado Medical Center since early last Saturday morning. Greeley police said Higuchi was drunk at a fraternity party, apparently argued with someone, forced open a door to the second-floor balcony and jumped over the railing.
Greeley police and UNC officials have been investigating the case to determine how liquor was supplied to the fraternity party, where underage people were drinking.
