A member of the board of directors for the Boulder Area Realtor Association is scheduled to be sentenced in June after a jury found him guilty of raping a 20-year-old woman who was babysitting his children.
Curtis Jay Hilty, 39, of Broomfield, was found guilty last week of sex assault on a helpless victim and sex assault, overcoming a victim’s will, both felonies. He could face life in prison for having sex with his children’s babysitter after she fell asleep.
Hilty — who has been a licensed Realtor since 1992 — was an ex-officio officer of the Colorado Association of Realtors professional development committee from 2007 to 2009 and has been on the board of directors for the Boulder Area Realtor Association since 2006, according to his online biography.
