Mars Volta members Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez seemed to have made amends after a falling out that prompted the break up of their former band. The two musicians have formed a new supergroup called Antemasque with Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist, Flea, and Dave Elitch on drums.

News broke today in the form of The video depicts guitar hero, Rodriguez-Lopez, behind the controls on production duties. Check out a rehearsal with Flea describing the best bass ever. The group’s first single “4AM” is now available on iTunes, but there has no official word of a forthcoming full album.
