Police arrested a man after he stole a car and led officers on chase in Aurora early this morning.
Shortly before 6:30 a.m. police received a report of vehicle theft taking place near Colfax Avenue and Dayton Street, where the owner was pulled out of the car before it was stolen, according to Sgt. Cassidee Carlson, spokeswoman for the Aurora Police Department.
A few minutes later, officers attempted to pull over a car that matched the description of the stolen vehicle. The car sped away from police before crashing at Colfax Avenue and Wabash Street.
Three men then fled the stolen car. Officers used a Taser to subdue the driver of the vehicle before arresting him.
Police are still looking for the other two men.
