Century Communities pulled the most building permits in the first quarter of this year, with 68. Richmond American Homes of Colorado was not far behind with 64, shows a report released today by the HBA of Metro Denver. Last year, Richmond was by far the single largest home builder in the metro area, pulling 721 permits. That was 2.5 times the amount of its next largest competitor, Standard Pacific of Colorado, Inc., which pulled 284 permits in 2010.
