Running back Peyton Hillis, who — along with a sixth-round pick in this week’s NFL draft and a conditional pick next year — was sent packing to Cleveland by the former Broncos coach for backup quarterback Brady Quinn, will grace the cover of Madden NFL ’12 after beating Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick in a vote by fans. Hillis received 66 percent of the one million votes.
One of Hillis’ first perks for winning will be to present the top 10 list on David Letterman’s TV show, but there’s no need to mention McDaniels on the show — he’s already a joke.
