COLORADO SPRINGS — A fleeing suspect was arrested Wednesday after dashing through Madison Elementary School in central Colorado Springs, prompting the school to go on emergency lockdown, The Gazette reported.
Zachery Patterson, 27, was among three men police chased about noon after someone called 911 to report burglars skulking outside a neighborhood house, Colorado Springs police told The Gazette.
Danielle Burke, 33, eluded officers and is still being sought, while the third man was questioned and released without charges.
