Police are investigating a stabbing after a man walked into Denver hospital early this morning.

Shortly after midnight a man walked into Denver Health Medical Center with a non-life threatening stab wound to his abdomen, Matthew Murray, spokesman for the Denver Police Department said.

The man reported that he and his wife were at the Pilot Travel Center at Interstate 70 and Steele Street when he got into an argument with another man.

The victim and his wife then got in their car and drove away, he said. The man followed them in his car.

The victim said he pulled the car over and was stabbed after he and the man started fighting.

The victim is stable this morning Murray said.

Police have started investigating the report.
