COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Sen. Michael Bennet is headed to Colorado Springs to tour the Air Force Academy and meet with cadets participating in a research competition.
The Democratic senator planned to meet Friday with cadets in the Nation Security Innovation competition, which highlights student research designed to help national security.
Senators are winding down a two-week Easter break. Bennet joined other senators on a trip to China last week.
Congress returns next week and is expected to debate raising the national debt ceiling.
