Colorado’s first season in the Pac-12 will include a primetime home game on national TV, after its game in Boulder against Southern Cal was moved to Friday, Nov. 4, for airing on ESPN2.

The schools and the conference announced the move Monday.

Kickoff at Folsom Field between the Buffaloes and Trojans is scheduled for 7 p.m. Mountain time.

CU last played a Friday night home game in 2009, when the Buffs lost to Nebraska 27-20. CU last played a weeknight home game on ESPN in 2008, hosted it upset ranked West Virginia 17-14 in overtime. That was the first home weeknight game against a team other than Nebraska since 1990.

“These rare weeknight games provide a spotlight on CU-Boulder for a national audience, and create a sense of community across the campus,” CU chancellor Phil DiStefano said in a release.
