A 28-year-old Colorado Springs man was arrested after his neighbor said he broke into her apartment while she was sleeping and threatened to kill her.
Police used a Taser to restrain Jon Elder, of 610 N. Murray Blvd., after he resisted arrest.
According to a police report, a 30-year-old resident of the Fireside Apartments in Colorado Springs called police around 11 p.m. Saturday and said she awoke to find Elder in her apartment.
The woman was able to get away and call officers from another neighbor’s apartment. She was not injured.
Elder was booked into the jail on a burglary charge, police said.
