EDGEWATER — Police Chief Daniel Keough will retire in July after almost 30 years with the department — seven of them as chief.
The five finalists to fill the top job are retired Denver Police Capt. Harold Chatman; Arapahoe Community College Police Chief Dennis Goodwin; human-rights investigator and former Aurora Police Lt. Mary Heller; former Dacono Police Chief John Hough, now police commander in Arroyo Grande, Calif.; and former Aurora Cmdr. Steven Neumeyer, now deputy director of Colorado’s Peace Officer Standards and Training.
The public can speak to the finalists at City Hall, 2401 Sheridan Blvd. from 5 to 6:30 p.m., on May 12.
