Crews responded to a fire at Kepner Middle School this afternoon.
A grass fire had burned into some bushes next to the school at 911 South Hazel Court when crews arrived at 3:14 p.m., according to the Denver Fire Department.
The fire was quickly extinguished. Arson investigators, however, are examining the site, said Denver Fire Lt. Phil Champagne.
