Cotton Burden, the largest private landowner in downtown Longmont, is proposing a partnership between the Longmont Downtown Development Authority and his development company, Burden Inc., to build the Roosevelt Park Apartments, a 115-unit apartment building that would include some retail space and a new parking garage.
The project is slated to be built on the southern end of the 700 block of Main Street. RLET Properties, also a Burden company, owns the 1.55 acres on the south end of that block.
Keith Burden, Cotton’s son and part of the Burden Inc. team, laid out the first part of his company’s proposal to the LDDA board Wednesday morning.
