
Boulder police are looking for a tall college-aged man suspected of robbing a 22-year-old woman and knocking her unconscious on a path along Boulder Creek.
The assault, announced today, happened on April 2 at about 1:30 a.m. near the Boulder Public Library.
She told police the man grabbed her from behind and demanded money. She gave him her purse, and he knocked her unconscious and left, police said. She was taken to Boulder Community Hospital for treatment, and this week provided police with enough detail for a composite sketch of the man.
He is described as white, 20 to 25 years old, about 6 feet, 4 inches tall with an athletic build. He also had dark brown hair, no facial hair and no visible tattoos or piercings.
He was wearing a maroon or purple hoodie, jeans and a silver watch the victim described as “gaudy” silver watch
