A wildfire was contained near Simla late this afternoon.
The fire was first reported at 2:35 p.m., near the junction of County Road 76 and County Road 86.
Officials said the fire grew to nearly 2,000 acres, but was contained by 5:30 p.m.
No structures were damaged and no people were injured.
