Getting your player ready...
Go east, fisherman. Northeastern waters have turned on the last week, and Jumbo, Jumbo Annex, North Sterling and Bonny are seeing good action for a variety of species. Expect traffic at Bonny as limits have been lifted because of the expected draining this fall. If you have the time to travel, don’t forget John Martin to the southeast or Pueblo Reservoir, where the action has really picked up. Most tailwaters are still fishing well, including the Dream Stream, Big Thompson and the upper Blue. Many are seeing increasing flows as water is released in anticipation of a high runoff.
