Eagles squeak past Rush.

A raucous crowd at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland waited a long time — until 1:48 was left in the game — to see what they wanted, a Colorado Eagles goal, as Riley Nelson scored to give the Eagles a 1-0 win over Rapid City in Game 7 of the Central Hockey League’s Turner Conference final.

On the game-winning goal, Daymen Rycroft took a shot from between the circles and Nelson, stationed at the right side of the crease, was able to put home the rebound.

Games 1 and 2 of the Presidents’ Cup Finals vs. Bossier-Shreveport will be played in Loveland next Friday and Saturday.
