Win our photo contest

We know you’ve got flowers. How can we entice you to share them? How does winning a $50 gift certificate to your favorite garden center sound? The Denver Post’s Grow section is nothing without gardeners willing to share their triumphs (and trials). So we created the Show & Grow flower photo contest, which will continue online through June 17. Buds, blossoms, seed heads — any phase of any kind of bloom qualifies. Capture a flower on film, and your photo could win a chunk of change for whatever garden gear puts wind in your chimes. Bonus: The best shot of an insect-inhabited bloom wins a copy of Storey Publishing’s “Attracting Native Pollinators.” To enter and to see other entries, go to and follow the instructions to upload your digital JPEG photo (no less than 3 megapixels, please). The site will guide you to give us some details about you and your garden. We’ll announce winners in the June 24 Grow section. Finally, check out some great garden photography tips at .
