The 2011 Create Denver Expo occurs this Saturday at the Wellington Webb Building, and Reverb will be there. Contributing writer Eryc Eyl will moderate a panel discussion on the role of the media in a thriving music community. Other panelists will include the Onion’s Cory Casciato, KTCL’s Nerf, Reverb’s own John Wenzel and KUSA’s Kirk Montgomery.
We expect a lively and constructive debate about whether the media helps or hinders those trying to making a living while making music in the Mile High City. If that sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, come on down to 201 West Colfax on Saturday. Our panel begins at 11:30, but there are tons of other fascinating workshops and presenters you should probably check out. Five bucks cash gets you in the door.
The Create Denver Expo is a day-long event that gives creative types the opportunity to learn about all the small business services and programs in the Denver area that can help them turn their art into a way to make a living. It’s the educational centerpiece of the Mayor’s office’s annual celebration of creativity, Create Denver Week. For more information, hit up .
