Thanks to the recent wet weather, the Golden Fire Department has temporarily lifted fire restrictions.
The restrictions were first put in place on April 27 for the City of Golden.
The lift falls in conjunction with Jefferson County and is effective in Golden at 5 p.m. today.
Residents are encouraged to still use caution with lighted materials, since the fire danger is always present in wild land communities.
