DENVER—Officials have identified the man who died in a motorcycle crash after an officer tried to pull him over on Interstate 25 in northern Colorado.

The Weld County coroner said the motorcyclist killed Sunday night was 36-year-old Michael Lee Morse of Longmont.

The Denver Post reported Morse failed to yield when a state trooper tried to pull him over on I-25 near exit 240.

The patrol said Morse crashed about five miles later.

He died at the scene.
