PARIS — French accident investigators said Monday that they had succeeded in downloading all of the flight data and cockpit conversations from the black boxes of an Air France jet that crashed two years ago in the Atlantic Ocean.
An interim report on their findings is expected to be published this summer. All 228 passengers and crew members were killed when Flight 447 went down on June 1, 2009, in a heavy thunderstorm en route to Paris from Rio de Janeiro.
