A Denver police officer was injured in a traffic accident at East 44th Avenue and Peoria Street this afternoon.
The officer, a civilian adult and child were taken to the hospital, but their injuries were non-life-threatening, police spokesman Sonny Jackson said.
The crash happened about 2:50 p.m. about one block north of Interstate 70 south of Montbello Shopping Center.
He did not yet have details from on-scene officers about what happened.
