Air Force Academy cadets are hoping their one-hour dodge ball game will get them into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Air Force Academy officials say about 3,600 cadets squared off in two teams for a game of dodge ball on Wednesday on the campus north of Colorado Springs, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette.

The Guinness website says the current record for the largest dodge ball game was set in February by 2,012 people at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Guinness will still have to verify the Air Force Academy’s record-breaking attempt.
