FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Rams men’s basketball head coach Tim Miles has signed a contract extension that will keep him in Fort Collins through 2016.
Colorado State Director of Athletics Paul Kowalczyk said Thursday that Miles produced one of the greatest turnarounds in Division I men’s basketball at CSU.
The new deal will include a graduated salary that will increase to $750,000 annually, beginning in 2012-13, with another $585,000 that will go into effect July 1. The agreement also includes a $250,000 longevity incentive for Miles to stay at CSU through the length of the extension.
Miles has led the Rams on a steady rise, including back-to-back postseason appearances for just the sixth time in program history
