BOULDER, Colo.—A 21-year-old Lafayette man has pleaded guilty to child abuse resulting in the death of his infant son.

The Daily Camera reports that Joaquin Campos entered the plea Friday in the death of his 10-week-old son, Lyon, last fall. He is expected to be sentenced to between 20 and 32 years in prison with a mandatory five years of parole July 6.

Campos was accused of shaking, squeezing and throwing the baby. Police say the boy had a punctured lung, split lip, bruised tongue, knee abrasions, broken bones, brain swelling and a skull fracture.
