The Air Force Thunderbirds are arriving in Colorado to perform their customary flyover at the Air Force Academy graduation.
The aerial demonstration team arrives at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs on Monday. The graduation ceremony will be Wednesday at Falcon Stadium on the academy campus north of Colorado Springs.
The Thunderbirds fly six F-16 fighter jets. Their flyover is timed to coincide with the hat toss, when graduating cadets throw their hats into the air.
