A lone robber jumped the counter at a Walgreens drugstore early Sunday, demanded drugs, and then fled, police said.
Police were called to the Walgreens at 920 N. Circle Drive in south-central Colorado Springs just before 4 a.m. Officers searched the area for the man, who had threatened the pharmacy clerk with a handgun, but could not find the robber.
The clerk was not injured. The robber was given an undisclosed medication.
