COLORADO SPRINGS — High winds and waves forced state park rangers Monday to temporarily call off the search for former mayoral candidate Mitch Christiansen, whose boat overturned in similar weather on Elevenmile Reservoir last weekend, The Gazette reported.
Christiansen’s wife, Susan, was found dead at the east end of the reservoir Sunday.
