LAS ANIMAS, Colo.—A tornado has touched down near Lamar in southeast Colorado, but there have been no immediate reports of damage.

The National Weather Service said radar spotted a tornado five miles east of Lamar at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday. It was moving northeast at 15 mph.

Meteorologist Eric Petersen says it was a brief, weak tornado in an open area, and there were no immediate reports of damage.
