After finishing second two weeks ago, Toms won the Colonial on Sunday for his 13th PGA Tour title. He lost in a playoff to K.J. Choi in The Players Championship the week before. The 44-year-old Toms shot consecutive 62s to tie the PGA Tour record for the first 36 holes at Colonial, then closed with rounds of 74 and 67 to beat Charlie Wi by a stroke. Over the past two weeks he has jumped from 56th to fourth in the FedEx Cup standings. Toms is taking a planned two-week break after playing four consecutive tournaments.
