Altitude and the Colorado Eagles announced Thursday that tonight’s Game 7 vs. Bossier-Shreveport for the Central Hockey League’s Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup will be broadcast live from the Budweiser Events Center, starting at 7 p.m.
The broadcasters will be Mike Haynes and Peter McNab, Altitude’s Avalanche team.
Bears’ baseball season ends.
For the second straight year, the University of Northern Colorado baseball team (24-32) saw its season end with a 4-3 loss in 10 innings at the Great West Conference Tournament.
At this year’s tournament in Grand Forks, N.D., NYIT did the honors on George Carroll’s two-RBI double. Brendan Hall (1-1) took the loss, starting the 10th by giving up a double to Rob Cafeiro. An intentional walk and a line drive that richocheted off Hall and the umpire loaded the bases for Carroll.
