Boulder police are looking for anyone who witnessed a morning rollover crash that sent the male driver to the hospital with severe head injuries.

The accident happened around 9:30 a.m. on the ramp from westbound U.S. 36 onto Foothills Parkway.

According to Kim Kobel, a police spokeswoman, the driver of a Jeep drove off the west side of the ramp. The Jeep rolled at least once, and the man was ejected up to 60 feet away from the vehicle.

Kobel said police do not suspect alcohol in the accident, and that the driver may have suffered from some kind of medical condition just prior to the accident. Police did not find any skid marks at the scene, indicating the driver didn’t try to stop.
