Scott Binder, who in January announced his resignation as Comcast’s top Colorado executive, will become president and chief executive of the Denver-based management consulting firm FCCServices.

Binder, a Fort Morgan native, will start with FCCServices on Sept. 1.

FCCServices provides business-consulting services to the Farm Credit System — a nationwide network of borrower-owned lending institutions and specialized service organizations that help farmers, ranchers, rural homeowners and rural utilities.

FCCServices also provides consulting services to municipalities and agricultural cooperatives.

During his 12 years with Comcast, Binder worked in various roles, holding the position of senior vice president of Comcast’s Mile High Region for six years, overseeing sales, technical operations, customer service and local marketing.

The region includes Colorado and New Mexico.
