RIFLE — Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Rifle bank at gunpoint Friday morning.
At 10:27 a.m., police were called to the American National Bank after a man walked in with a semiautomatic handgun, according to a news release from the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office.
The robber took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing west.
The robber was described as being in his mid-20s, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11, with a thin build and wearing blue jeans, a dark gray or black hoodie, a black ballcap with a white design, and a black backpack.
