Denver’s annual Memorial Day parade starts at 10 a.m. today.

An eight-decade tradition, the parade will be preceded by a 9 a.m. wreath-laying ceremony at the Colorado Veterans Monument, across Lincoln Street from the state Capitol.

The parade begins at Civic Center and is followed by a tribute to fallen servicemen and servicewomen in front of the monument.
