Xcel Energy Inc. is bringing back summer pricing that charges Colorado customers more for electricity after they’ve used more than 500 kilowatt hours in a month.
From June through September, customers will be charged a base energy rate of 4.6 cents per kilowatt hour for the first 500 kilowatt hours they use in a month. They will be charged 9 cents per kilowatt hour above that.
