DURANGO — A blaze at the Ironhorse Inn in north Durango destroyed several rooms and caused about $100,000 in damage, authorities say.
The cause of the fire, which broke out about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, is under investigation, said Dave Imming, spokesman for Durango Fire & Rescue Authority.
It took firefighters about half an hour to extinguish the blaze, which started in an unoccupied room, Imming said. No one was injured.
The hotel was evacuated.
