Body found during search for Highlands Ranch believed to be woman missing since May 21

Douglas County authorities today suspended their search for a missing 47-year-old woman after a body was found Plum Valley Park in the 10200 Block of Westridge Village Parkway in Highlands Ranch.

Debra Call Willis has been missing since May 21. The boundary of the park is about 500 feet from her home in the 2900 block White Oak Street.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department said earlier in the day that she might be suicidal.

The body was was found by search-and-rescue personnel looking for Willis at about 4 p.m., and an autopsy and other forensic work had not confirmed the identity of the body.

An autopsy is planned for Friday, the Sheriff’s Department stated.

In a media release, Sheriff David Weaver “thanks the public and the Douglas County Search and Rescue Team for their assistance in locating a missing person.”
