With his win Sunday at the Coca-Cola 600, Harvick jumped three places to second in the standings, 36 points behind Carl Edwards. Harvick has led a combined nine laps in his three wins this year. After the race, Harvick said he felt “so stinking bad” for Dale Earnhardt Jr., who ran out of gas.
