Denver-based ProLogis and AMB Property Corp. of San Francisco, two of the largest publicly held operators of warehouses and industrial properties, on Friday announced the completion of their merger.
The combined company — to be called Prologis Inc. — will have its corporate headquarters in San Francisco and operations headquarters in Denver.
AMB chief executive Hamid R. Moghadam and ProLogis chief executive Walter Rakowich will serve as co-CEOs of the combined company through Dec. 31, 2012, at which time Rakowich will retire and Moghadam will become the sole chief.
