COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—An arrest has been made in the fatal Colorado Springs motorcycle accident that killed a Fort Carson soldier last week.
Police say 31-year-old Michael Wesley Conyer was driving the green sedan involved in the accident that killed 19-year-old Christopher Wheeler.
Wheeler died May 27 after his motorcycle crashed into the sedan after it pulled in front of him. Another motorcycle traveling alongside Wheeler also hit the sedan, injuring a man and woman. The sedan fled the scene.
The (Colorado Springs) Gazette reports that tips led to the arrest.
